The Retreat
Join us for four days of relaxation, creativity and joy in a farmhouse in Snowdonia.
FRIDAY 7th - MONDAY 10th NOVEMBER 2025
Recharge your batteries. Get creative. Make friends for life.
The Story Social is all about community, self care and creativity, helping women to write their own story.
We (your hosts: Mollie & Jodie) originally met at a creative event that we’d both attended alone. We know the power that these spaces hold for women: a safe place to get creative, prioritise self care and find other like-minded spirits to connect with.
Join us in beautiful North Wales in November for a refreshing weekend curated to bring you joy, relaxation, new friends and deepened connections. Breathe in fresh air, go wild swimming, paint and create, tuck into delicious food, soak in the hot tub, read books and sleep deeply.
Take rest seriously.
Prioritise yourself… think of this as an overdue (and well-deserved) holiday for your mind, body and soul.
Physical rest
We’ll combine rejuvenating activities like lake swimming and fresh air walks with deeply restorative exercises like yoga, reading and meditation.
Mental rest
Step away from your screens, leave your routine for a while and recharge your batteries surrounded by like-minded women.
Creative rest
Immerse yourself in activities designed to awaken your creativity: canvas painting, vision board making, journalling and a book club.
THE LOCATION
THE LOCATION
Join us at a farmhouse in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. The bespoke yoga studio, renovated cottages, hot tub and mountain views provide the perfect setting to unwind and recharge. Settle in and sleep deeply under clear starry skies and undisturbed views– the only sounds are the soft breeze and occasional friendly sheep.

The Itinerary
From vision board creating to canvas painting and journalling, there will be an opportunity every day to embrace your creativity.
Each day we’ll get out into the fresh air and immerse ourselves in nature, whether that’s lake swimming and a countryside walk… or just chilling in the hot tub.
We’ll be getting cosy under blankets for a book club one evening… and we’ll send you the chosen book beforehand to give you plenty of time to read it!
Rest and relaxation will be a priority, with grounding yoga and meditation in a beautiful studio.
We’ll be tucking into delicious hearty food handmade by incredible chefs… we’re so excited to reveal more about this!

Before signing up, please be sure you can fully commit to attending!
Our retreats require extensive planning, with accommodations, private chefs and activities planned well in advance. For this reason, deposits are non-refundable.
That said, we completely understand that unexpected situations can arise! If something comes up, please inform us as soon as possible so we have the best chance of finding someone to take your place. Let us know if you have any questions.
-
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. As a retreat attendee, you are fully responsible for your own travel arrangements, health, safety and personal belongings throughout the retreat.
While we do our best to create a safe and seamless experience, we cannot be held liable for any unforeseen circumstances, including any travel issues, lost or damaged belongings, illness or cancellations. Travel insurance can provide coverage for these situations, ensuring your peace of mind should anything unexpected arise!

We don’t offer a formal payment plan, but we do split the total cost into two payments. To secure your spot, an initial deposit of £300 is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due in July.
This allows some flexibility while ensuring all arrangements are confirmed in advance. If you have any questions about payment, feel free to reach out!
